After over a decade of going to TBF and the challenge to get Town Park passes, I’m shocked to see so many TBF ticksts for sale below cost. Never seen this before. The lineup has always had a small impact on ticket sales, but not a huge one.
My theory: Planet Bluegrass oversold tickets this year in an effort to increase their revenue without communicating this to the community. I was always told by fellow Festivarians, “Buy what you can, someone will want them if you can’t go”.
